THIS AND THAT

I hope you guys had a relaxing holiday break.....3 day weekends need to be the norm right:)

I don't have much today....seems like I am in the middle of all my projects with half finished shots but I will share....cause I am that desperate :)

Speaking of desperate....I totally need to get a keratin treatment as this rain has reminded me I was not blessed with smooth beautiful hair.

Crikey.....

Here are a few shots of progress....

This gorgeous Currey & Co mirror was installed over a bar cart.

The desk chair arrived from Charles Stewart covered in pale pink linen from Romo....

The desk is from Bernhardt.  Walls are SW Urbane Bronze.

This gorgeous art was purchased from Huff Harrington Home by artist Judith Williams.  You can see that Thibaut wallpaper swatch which is coming next!

Cute little PB light fixture installed in a guest room.

Great pillows from Dixon Rye...bedding from PB.

Another gorgeous piece of art from Linda Donahue in the master bedroom....

More black and white photography installed at the top of the stairs....

And this Delta faucet installed at the bar.....

On another project I ordered these pretty Adirondack chairs from Overstock!

With these pillows coming from Serena and Lily...
Along with 2 garden stools....

What do ya'll have going on this summer?  We are planning a trip to Chicago to visit some family including my husbands 98 year old Dad!

Longevity runs in his family but not on my side:( He will probably have time to marry a trophy wife when I bite the dust early.....hee haw.

SOUTHEASTERN DESIGNER SHOWHOUSE & GARDENS 2017 PART 2

OK.....more Southeastern Showhouse goodness for you today!

If you remember I focused mainly on the kitchen on the last post because it rocked my world but today I have some pretty professional pictures and some drab iphone shots taken by me.  You can suffer through those:)

This is the last week to see it!

This gorgeous master bedroom [Tristan Harstan] .....when I saw the house it was at night so I have very few good pictures.

This was a room above the garage designed by Ethan Allen.

The mudroom entry designed by Dana Wolter

So so pretty....this is definitely my style:)

I think this room was designed by Chad James and I was all over it!

And this gorgeous space by Stan Topol.

Anna Braund designed this lovely master bathroom....

A wonderful space designed by Paige Schnell [Tracery]

I'm still not tired of shiplap.

There were so many people in the DR designed by Tammy Connor] the night I was there I couldn't get any shots....

Sarah Bartholomew from Nashville was the designer for this bedroom.....

So much work and detail in this space!

The family room which I have already shown you...Phoebe Howard

There is nothing I like better than a cute sitting area in a space!

This was a sunroom off the family room with a beautiful stone fireplace....Huff Dewberry

You can see the green sofa in this shot!

The foyer designed by Jackie Lanham and Jennifer Ferguson
Beautifully traditional!

Lathem Gordon and Cate Dunning pulled this space together and that Schumacher wallpaper was everything!

I wish I could have gotten better shots of all the details in this bedroom designed by Bridget Beari Designs

Chunky blanket....yup!

I feel in love with these bullseye accents!

Again a gorgeous closeup of the kitchen dining area by the talented Lauren DeLoach

This pretty bedroom by Mark Simmons

And you know this space had my name written all over it!

Summerhouse designs and I are in sync for sure....

I was wowed by Huff Harrington's space!

And......
this pool!  Hubba Hubba

Take a look at my kitchen post here

The other day I went to one of those blow dry places because I had somewhere to go [was tired and too lazy to wash my hair] plus I had a coupon.  While they are drying your hair they turn you around so there can be this big reveal at the end!

I actually showed her a picture of my hair at it's best.....so I was expecting something pretty close to great.

As she turned me around to reveal my beautiful tresses I gasped.  The side part was down around my ears and it resembled a combover....
WTF?
I calmly paid...went home and wet it down to fix that hot mess.

So glad I had the coupon but I think I'm done with those places.
