NEW DESIGN PLAN

Crikey I am so glad it's Friday.  How about you:)

I have to tell you that we watched the last season of the Netflix series Bloodline.  Y'all it was painful.

I remember watching the first 2 seasons and it was slow but season 3 took it to a new level.....like watching snails crawl.   Not only did it creep along.... the storyline was all over the place and the acting sucked.  I wanted to punch all of them in the face......for wasting my time.

I've got a new design plan to share with you today.

A friend of mine bought a place at Manchester by Hedgewood Homes.

I've been helping her put together the kitchen, lighting and furniture plan!

We are changing this suggestion a little by flipping the dining and LR.  There is actually not a balcony but a large window so we are putting the DR table there.....

In the kitchen we are doing white cabinets with a black island. Similar to the picture below.  White Carrara marble on the island and honed black granite on the perimeter cabinets.

With 2 of these Circa Lighting pendants over the island.

Pretty excited....and warming up the space with these barstools.

Dark hardwood floors and my go to white BM White Dove throughout!  I'm nothing if not consistent :)

For the sectional I turned to Lee Industries.

I love the modern lines of this piece.   She wanted navy upholstery so I'm not mad at that!

Two of these chairs from Bernhardt Interiors.

And one of these bad boys from Lee Industries.

# 1 is the Bernhardt chairs
# 2 is the navy sectional
# 3 is the modern chair

I am liking this Dash and Albert rug....for the living area.....

The finishes are for the DR chair selections...

I found this table below at Four Hands.....
And deciding between these 2 dining chairs.

You can see here how the table is going to be in the bump out which is not shown in the original floor plan.  The Circa Lighting sconces below go on the small walls in the bump out.

Looking at this Noir piece for between the 2 Bernhardt chairs under the TV.

I am undecided on the DR chandelier......but it will come to me!

We ordered this Bernhardt Interiors bed upholstered in dark gray velvet!

Thinking about one of these Emma Hayes wallapers on the bed wall only...

In the powder room maybe this Lindsay Cowles grasscloth wallpaper?

With these Circa Lighting sconces....

The sconces will be going up the stairs and the chandelier [bottom right] will be in the foyer.  The polished nickel sconce is for the master bath.

I am pretty pumped about all of this......

In other news Cami got her summer cut!

In this shot she has a cow squeaky toy in her mouth that my neighbor gave her.....for 10 minutes.  Then she called me and said her dog wanted it back.

Huh?  I had to trick her into letting it go.  How mean was that..... right?

THIS AND THAT

I hope you guys had a relaxing holiday break.....3 day weekends need to be the norm right:)

I don't have much today....seems like I am in the middle of all my projects with half finished shots but I will share....cause I am that desperate :)

Speaking of desperate....I totally need to get a keratin treatment as this rain has reminded me I was not blessed with smooth beautiful hair.

Crikey.....

Here are a few shots of progress....

This gorgeous Currey & Co mirror was installed over a bar cart.

The desk chair arrived from Charles Stewart covered in pale pink linen from Romo....

The desk is from Bernhardt.  Walls are SW Urbane Bronze.

This gorgeous art was purchased from Huff Harrington Home by artist Judith Williams.  You can see that Thibaut wallpaper swatch which is coming next!

Cute little PB light fixture installed in a guest room.

Great pillows from Dixon Rye...bedding from PB.

Another gorgeous piece of art from Linda Donahue in the master bedroom....

More black and white photography installed at the top of the stairs....

And this Delta faucet installed at the bar.....

On another project I ordered these pretty Adirondack chairs from Overstock!

With these pillows coming from Serena and Lily...
Along with 2 garden stools....

What do ya'll have going on this summer?  We are planning a trip to Chicago to visit some family including my husbands 98 year old Dad!

Longevity runs in his family but not on my side:( He will probably have time to marry a trophy wife when I bite the dust early.....hee haw.

MORE HIGH POINT MADNESS

Boy when you go out of town for a week.....all hell breaks loose.

Before I left I spent 2 days ordering and getting things done.

The problem with that is..... it's never static.....and you arrive home to 5 days worth of more work.

Ahhhhhh.....the treadmill of life!

But I just have to blab a little more on what I saw last week because...well....it's what I do:)

I think my team and I agree that one of the biggest trends we noticed were layered coffee tables or if you are going to google....."nesting coffee tables".

These are just some I googled because it was such a BIG TREND that I only got one image.

Crikey.

My one example from  Highland House Furniture.

Which brings me to this bit of information about their collaboration with Bungalow Classic.

So pretty.

Another showroom we ran into was this one....

And did you know they have a wallpaper line with York?

Joanna loves her some round mirrors!

Two of my favorite things from Gabby Furniture
This light fixture and coffee table below.

A trip through Bernhardt Furniture

This chair was so comfy!

Never met an etagere I didn't like and this one was no exception.

This bedroom chest....hubba hubba

Cruising through Ryan Studio pillows and we all had a moment while slashing through their showroom like we owned the place.

Then there was 214 Modern Vintage.

Um.....hell yeah.

I wish I had bought these bowls.....

This vignette gave me a moment.  I fell in love with mint green and the wall colors.

This Arteriors floor lamp.....

Pretty grid.....

And last.... I think chairs are my favorite and these from Julian Chichester got me going.

Which brings me to another point....lots of teal and green together.  AND......drum roll please...

Black and White!

Uh huh.  Design Indulgence.....#trending.

And....just so you don't think I was eating at 5 star restaurants every night here's a newsflash.

We actually ate at a Mobile gas station.

Yep....living the life baby.

But before you get a "judgey" on me take a look.....

Probably cleaner than my own kitchen....just saying.

Warning.....there may be another post about High Point in the future.

Not today though.  Gotta get the weekend started!

I'm going to the Mother Clucker Fried Chicken festival on Sunday....ha ha.
