PINK DOORS

Lord I can go down a rabbit hole when I get obsessed about something.  The other day I was at Hedgewood Homes community called Manchester and came across this little beauty.

Holy smokes I just about died and had to pull myself away....lest the owner might call the authorities to have me removed.  It's no fun when people read about you in the news and it's because you did something stupid right?

Pam was sweet enough to give us the color......the outside dark color is SW Black Fox.  I am kind of scared to tell my husband I want to replicate this on our house.....it might be the end of me.  If there is no post on Friday then you know it didn't go well.......

Here is the same color.....doesn't look a bit like the door right?

I remember seeing this on her Instagram page.....

Her inspiration.

And how it looks.....

I think you know where I am going with this.....PINK DOORS.

Of course pinterest and instagram are loaded with images that are seriously drool worthy so I grabbed some to feed my obsession.

I adore the dark with the pale pink.....

I mean....could you die?

Here are a few of my favorites!

Here is a little mid century pink for you!

Which one is your favorite?
I NEED SOME PINK IN MY LIFE

Without even thinking about this post I took these images yesterday at ADAC in the Schumacher showroom!

There you have it.....a small look into my recent obsession.

BEFORE AND AFTER MASTER BEDROOM AND BATH

OK....am I last one to know about the Puppy Bowl?  I mean I guess I've heard about it but this time I actually watched it and it was hilarious.  Just watching those puppies made my heart all mushy.

This was the first weekend in a long time that I did not have appointments....and boy it felt good.  No Agenda !

And....I actually thought about cleaning out my closets but then I slapped myself to come to my senses.

I still have some before and afters from the Southern Homes article.  This renovation by Ladisic Fine Homes seems to go on forever!

The bedroom and master bath were totally revamped!

Before master

This window was replaced....and we took the bookshelves and moved them.  This allowed for more closet room on the other side.

Not sure if you can tell in this image but we added wood paneling to the ceiling....

The Lee Jofa trim on the curtains...

This beautiful Schumacher fabric for a pillow on the bed....

We kept her bed and lamps only adding new white shades!

Before of master bath

After....so pretty now huh!  The shower was enlarged and a window added for light.

Before of the deck tub.

After......freestanding.

The wall color is SW Passive and it is a new favorite of mine.

So....only the upstairs and landscaping left!

A little TMI for you today.  At my age I don't expect to be sporting pimples.....right?  But yesterday I awoke to look at my face with 3 monsters staring at me.

One above my eyebrow....fairly insignificant....one on my nose that was bothersome but the real kicker was right below my bottom lip at the corner of my mouth.

That one is a real beacon....and I expect it to be around a while.  So if you see me try not to stare:)

BOULDER #FIELDCOURT BEFORE AND AFTER PART 2

Kitchens.....the hub of the home.  Probably the one space that can help sell a house right?  So it makes sense that you would invest the most thought [and probably money]  in this part of a remodel.

Some facts we considered when designing this kitchen.
**Once we took the closet wall down it would be visible from the foyer.....
**Adding the black and white cement tile created the WOW factor!
**Open up the space [taking part of the wall down] for easy entertaining.
**Creating hubs....butlers pantry and prep station.....to allow for more "cooks" in the kitchen.

Here is the original real estate shot when the house was on the market.
Before

Such a light bright space....

Most are real estate shots as I left before it was totally finished.  You know I am not happy about that!

After
The awesome backsplash from  Cement Tile Shop!

Here you can the wall was opened up and the fridge was moved to make room for a small butlers pantry.

After

The prep station has a butcher block top and a place to put pots and pans......only pretty ones:)

Using my favorite Grohe faucet!

To help warm up the space the island was wrapped in white pine...

We were influenced by the fact that easier entertaining could be managed by not putting a sink or cooktop in the island.

This shows the small dining area in reference to the kitchen...

Moving on....the hall bath

And my cheap DIY art....
Ikea frame and pretty paper!

Before I left....so you can see the floor!

This is the bonus room over the garage...

The back hallway leading up to the bonus room. Kind of digging how this Cole and Sons tree wallpaper looks in this space!

Small powder room where you see the wallpaper sample.....

It wasn't finished but love this Schumacher wallpaper.....you can see the black and white theme throughout!

And to the left of this bathroom is a TV/Den
Sectional and coffee table from World Market, chair and floor lamp from Target

I just got a hold of some after outside pictures from the listing.

This is before landscaping but first coat of paint.

The color is BM Wrought Iron.....it looks green in some shots

So glad we decided to paint the entrance white!

Back yard before
After

This house is right on the golf course!

And...that is a wrap.

Things to remember.  Really only 2 walls [kitchen and foyer] were removed in the whole house!  It was pretty much cosmetic with most of the labor concentrated in the kitchen and master bath.

It's officially for sale now.  By the way the house I went out there to stage a few weeks ago sold already!  It's a hot market in Boulder.

What are y'all up to this weekend?  I've got 2 deliveries today and then I plan on hitting the booze pretty hard after that..... hee haw
