My Scattered Stars Design - Redbubble Phone Case Unboxing

Last year I blogged a little bit about some of the designs I was creating for a few different print on demand (POD) sites. This Scattered Stars design was one of them, and I was excited to order a new phone case for myself in one of my own designs. I was curious to check out the quality of the product and see in person how my design looked on it.

I created this graphic design with white stars on three different colored backgrounds; Black, Midnight Blue, and Modern Indigo. I still have another color in the works and will have it up in my Redbubble shop soon!

This version of my design (on all of the products shown on this page) is from my Redbubble shop.

One of the things I love about Redbubble is that they run a lot of sales, so if you find something you like on the site, keep your eyes open for special sales for things like free shipping or a nice discount.

My old phone case was falling apart, so off went my order! I thought I'd share my unboxing with you.

Within about a week after I placed my order my package from Redbubble arrived in the mail. Yay!

Redbubble has some pretty nice packaging. Inside the red shipping envelope was a bubble wrap envelope. Inside of that was the package shown above. They included a cool, fun sticker with my order too.

I was super-happy with the quality of my iphone case! The design looked great, and I'll definitely be ordering more from Redbubble in the future.

What do you think?

Have you ever shopped at Redbubble?

Have a great week!

PRETTY THINGS

Well.....I am still sick and it doesn't seem like it is waning at all.  In fact I can't remember what it is like to feel good.

I'm just trudging through the days in a complete haze zoned out on over the counter meds.....red for day and blue for night.

Bah Humbug right.....

I don't have much today but I thought I would share some images from a cute store I visited down in Palm Beach.

I wanted everything in there...so organic!

Love the colors in this rug!

It's part vintage....mixed in with pillows and such.

My first thought when I entered was it had a very California vibe....and come to find out the owners are from Cali.....The husband was there and said his wife had worked for Peter Dunham.

I am seriously in love with her curated styling!

I am smitten with the vintage pottery thrown in and of course nothing says "vintage California vibe" like throwing in some old baskets and blankets.

You can follow all of this goodness on Instagram here

One more bit of excellence to share with you....after all it is the season of giving!

This Instagram account totally appeals to my love of classic black and white design!

One of the worst thing about colds are coughing fits.....and the thing about coughing is every time I do it.... I pee a little.....I know TMI but it sucks.

My coo coo crazy Cami:)

There is always this bit of information to be thankful for.....that every time I cough I don't poop in my pants.

Silver linings.

DESIGN PLAN

What happened to my Friday post?  No valid explanation except then it was going to become a Saturday post and now all of the sudden it has become a Sunday post.

We left for the beach on Wednesday to come down and overhaul the condo.  Y'all it was so tired....the sofa looked like something you would find on the side of the street.  The slipcovers were threadbare.

All I've done is run around looking for deals to furnish this place in 5 days.  Crikey.....I want a real vacation that doesn't have anything to do with furniture or fabric.  Glass doors and turn down service come to mind.

#firstworldproblems

How about a good design plan today.  My client has this huge bedroom and it hasn't been updated in 20 years.  They moved in about year ago and now is the time to get it done.

First things first.  A floor plan.

I did about 5.

#1....[there is a pretty view of a river where the french doors are].

No.

#2

Move TV.

No.

No.

#3

No.

#4  My client got frustrated and sent me one of her own.  She just had to one up me:)  Move the bed back to the original place in the middle of the room to break up the length of the space.

Done.  Final plan.  With a chaise over by the view!

Let me show you some of the improvements so far. I wanted to enlarge this space so it would  accommodate a long dresser and TV.  Taking out the middle bookshelves in-between 2 doors did that.

Looks so much better and is ready for a long 73" dresser now.

This is "his" dresser.....

I am also excited how good the plain flat panel doors look after adding trim to them
The whole room was painted BM White Dove and the ceilings were painted BM Glass Slipper.

There are 2 sconces above the bookshelves.

I picked these pretty Circa ones to replace.

Here is the wall where the "her" dresser is going.

This white Bungalow 5 with the rings changed out to brass.....
Love this carpet going in when all painting and construction finished.

We will go over the fabrics and seating next week....it is going to be so pretty!

Hope you guys are having a relaxing weekend!

PROJECT UPDATE

Hola chickadees! It has been a busy week here at Sherry Hart Designs.  Lot's of installing so I thought I would catch you up on the details.

I think you remember my Manchester project? Another post here. We ordered all the lighting back in April and yesterday it was all installed.  For a designer that is an exciting day:)

This Arteriors beauty was the last one picked out.  We struggled with the fixture to go over the DR table but this one gave her the glam she asked for!  It did not disappoint.....
Below is the table.

All the furniture just off the truck!

These going up the stairs!

For this bathroom...

This great light.  Very reasonable price point and I like the white glass as it won't show dust like clear glass does!

These Circa beauties in the master bath!

The wallpaper went up in the master.

And both of us had a moment when these were installed over the island!

With these barstools.....

And this fabric for the window treatments

I called my painter to come paint the pantry black!
Next up is styling that beauty!

This are the sconces in the powder bath. [One on each side]  Wallpaper soon!

I need to order one of these for myself!

And look how I circled it back to me:)
I'm having some art framed for my dining room.....

And this is finally happening on my sofa.....I've only had the fabric for 2 years!

It's harder to do things around here with my retired husband watching my every move haha.

Lord I remember the good old days when I could totally rearrange the whole room and add new pillows and he would not even notice:)
