THIS AND THAT

Sorry I "ghosted" Last Friday....I was leaving for Chicago and try as I might just couldn't gather my thoughts to pull together a post:)

Speaking of Chicago......I was with my sister and we were going up for my nephews baby shower........but our flight was delayed 5 hours due to a snowstorm.  

I wrote this after about 4 hours....ha ha

We got to the airport at 9:30 and the flight finally left at 4:40.....needless to say it was a long day.

3 things I think Delta could do to make delays more fun....have someone to give neck massages, maybe a mani-pedi station....and the best thing would be a puppy room where you can just pet and play with them.....everybody knows puppies reduce stress!

But oh so worth it!  The first grandchild in our family will be here in late March.

They had the event at The Dunham Woods Riding Club and the decor was amazing!  Hopefully you saw some of my instastories.

This is my niece and nephew....so cute right?  She works for Knoll in NYC.  I was amazed when she told me that she uses Rent The Runway weekly for all her clothes.  She explained that she has not bought any clothes in forever and no dry-cleaning bills!

Before I left I delivered this pillow with this gorgeous Scalamandre trim.

This office is coming along....Thibaut wallpaper and Circa Lighting pendant.  If you look carefully the ceiling is high gloss white!

I started working on this plan.....look at me doing color!

I thought I would be tired of my dark walls by now but I'm not!

THE JANUARY MART

I sure am thankful that the cold weather has let up in Atlanta!
  

Lately....this is me..... taking 15 minutes to layer on all my clothes to walk Cami and then another 15 after I returned......it's been nice to walk out the door in just a coat!

Here is the little scoundrel at the beach a few weeks ago:) 

I forgot to share some of the pictures from the mart a while back.....I always love to walk the halls just looking at gorgeous things.

I am going to start with my favorite which of course are pillows!

I first saw these about 4 shows ago and just about lost it.   Sugarfeather is located in California and I love their designs SO much!!!

Every time I see a green sofa I want one.

I stumbled into this accessories showroom and I love this wallpaper shown in a couple of different color ways!  I was kind of in love with that mirror also....

 I was going to post about the bedroom I installed last Saturday but I was hoping to secure a large piece of art for over the sofa first.....it's so pretty that I am not sure my pictures will do it justice:)

While I was at her house a few weeks ago we were talking shoes and she brought out these beauties....whoa.

 They left me speechless.  

I have many questions to answer from your comments about the powder room and foyer....and I will get to them I promise.

It might be Friday but I will be working all weekend so I can't really get excited.....and that's clearly no fun right?

THIS AND THAT

Lately I have made going to showhouses my job.  

I posted about Kips Bay Palm Beach and yesterday I toured the Atlanta Holiday Showhouse.

But..... I'm going to give y'all a break today and just ramble about nothing until your eyes start to bleed.

After all it's the Holiday Season and I will probably have your attention for a hot minute so let me make it about me right?

Last night I dragged myself out in traffic [those that know me will realize that was pretty epic] to help a good designer friend Jennifer Shoenberger celebrate her home on the cover of Atlanta Magazine's Home!

I'm now obsessed with pink and red together!  Isn't she fabulous:)

 I have been to her crib and it is gorgeous!

Remember when I posted about shopping all over the place in Atlanta last week?  Well here was the result of my pillow collection for a client.

Over at my Manchester project we finally  got the rug!

 I'm digging it!

And picked up this cool modern end table.

Another project got this awesome Emtek door hardware.....swoon.

And the bathrooms are coming along nicely.

Oh yeah....there was that one "tear out" before they got it right.  Yikes.

I finally calmed down about the SW Pure White when I found some pretty backsplash tile.

Such a favorite....a comedy, with fashion and beautiful sets!
