Fabulous Feature Friday {Charming in Charlotte}

YAHOO! Happy Friday everyone! I know I am pumped for the weekend, how about you? I am looking forward to spending some time outdoors with my family.

Today's Friday Feature is the lovely Mallory from Charming in Charlotte. She also attended the Haven conference a couple of weeks ago. If you don't follow her blog, hop on over and take a look. She has great ideas for the home as well as fashion posts you won't want to miss.

Enjoy the tour!

How adorable is this nursery? Love the idea of using an old frame around a monogram!

Hope you enjoyed Mallory's home tour. She is the queen of DIY and has completed many projects on her own in each space. Please check out more of her home tour HERE and start following up to date projects HERE.

Have a fabulous Friday my friends!

Fabulous Feature Friday {Amy Butler Design}

It's Friday my sweet friends! Time for the weekend and what a better way to get this party started than to share Amy Butler's gorgeous home with all of you today.

I fell in love with Amy Butler years ago when my mother in law introduced me to her sewing patterns and fabric. She designs patterns for the everyday sewer as well as gorgeous fabric with bright bold patterns and colors. I have made many of her patterns in the past few years. Little did I know that she also has an amazing eye for design and making her house a home. I am so excited to share Amy's house tour today!

Her home is what you call a mid-century style. She has kept that feel throughout her home but has added the edge of mixing vintage finds with mid-century furniture. You will also see this popular Ikea light sprayed gold in her living room. So she has quite the mix of new and old as well as a few of her own fabric pieces throughout the house. I hope you enjoy this fabulous home tour!

"Beauty is in the way you live. Enjoy your surroundings. Let them inspire you. Follow your own path, and approach everything you do with love in your heart." ~ Amy Butler

Doesn't her home just seem so restful? I love the airy feel of the home and the mix of textures she adds to each space. She is also quite the gardener and you can see a full tour of her garden HERE. For more pictures of her home click HERE and more pics of her studio click HERE.

Have any of you ever tackled one of her patterns or used her fabric in your own home?

Have a fabulous weekend my friends! xoxo

Fabulous Feature Friday {Jeffrey Allan Marks}

I am a HUGE Million Dollar Decorators fan. If you don't have any idea what I'm talking about, it was a design show on Bravo where four prestigious decorators from California design and decorate some amazing spaces. It comes on usually during the summer, but I haven't seen any new episodes lately. Some of the designs are quite fabulous and it is amazing to see what people will spend on a lamp, rug or chair! A totally different world than I am use to.

Anyway, I am in love with Jeffrey Allan Marks Designs. He has such a unique personality when designing his spaces.  He makes each space feel like home and not "stuffy". I am in love with all the natural elements he brings in his spaces. I could move into them all! Not to mention he is quite gorgeous himself!

I thought it would be fun to feature a few of his designs today so you can get on the JAM bandwagon. So sit back with a cup of coffee and enjoy these beautiful spaces!
 {If you want to pin these images, please go to JAM's Gallery and pin from the original source!}

So did I convert you to the JAM fan club? Absolutely fabulous spaces designed by a fabulous guy. For more inspiration and photographs of his designs go HERE.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Fabulous Feature Friday {A Thoughtful Place}

Happy Friday All! I hope some of you are starting to thaw out from this crazy cold weather. We still have a couple of inches of snow here in NC, but it should melt away today with our 50 degree temps. It sure has been a weird winter.

I have a great treat for you today! I am sharing the home tour of one of my sweet friends Courtney from A Thoughtful Place. We met at the Haven Conference this past summer and hit it off right away. Oh how I wish we lived next door to each other...we would have a blast!

Courtney writes the blog A Thoughtful Place and has been in the interior decorating business for quite sometime. She is one talented lady! She has so many creative ideas when it comes to making her house a home, but also making it a place where kids can be creative and have fun. I hope you enjoy her house tour!

Courtney pays attention to every detail in her home. Can you tell? I Love that chandelier and all the little vignette's she has around her space.

Her kitchen! So light and bright...and those beveled subway tiles are calling my name!

Her master bedroom is so serene and cozy. Can you believe she added a little DIY to the winged back headboard?

Both kids have amazingly fun rooms! So much color and creativity went into each of these spaces.

I love how Courtney added a little desk area in her daughter's closet. What a fun space to do homework!

There are so many kid friendly ideas in this home. I love how she added the kids artwork into her decor in the bonus room.

Courtney also created a craft area for the kids up in their bonus room where they could just create and be kids!

How fabulous is Courtney's home? If you want to see more pictures of her home tour click HERE. For her amazing DIY & Organization projects click HERE. Thanks Courtney for sharing your home with all of us!

Have a wonderful weekend and I will see you all back here Monday morning for a Nursery update!

Fabulous Feature Friday {The Nesting Game}

It's Friday Friends! I hope you have some restful and pleasant plans for the weekend. I am going to be forcing myself to finish our Adoption Profile book. If I don't push through it before the holidays it won't get done. Wish me luck!

Today I have another Fabulous Feature for you all. I love finding new blogs and talented designers around the web. I happen to run across Molly's blog on pinterest a few weeks ago. She bought a 1950's ranch and has been making it her home with many DIY projects. She has such an eclectic mix of modern and vintage. Hope you enjoy the tour!

Loving those dark moody walls in the bedrooms and her dreamy backyard! Molly has really done a fantastic job making her house a home by layering colors and textures in each room. For more before and after pictures of her 1950's ranch visit her blog: The Nesting Game

Have a wonderful weekend my friends! See you back here Monday!
